Your Holiday Party Makeup Edit

Party Make up Look
If you've brought out your dancing shoes and dusted off your strappy numbers, the only thing to do is map out your makeup routine for all the soirees you will be raising a toast (or several) at. So we went back to our in-house expert makeup artists to consolidate  a few looks that would be easy to recreate. There's something in it for everyone, whether your prefrences lie towards the demure or swing toward the daring side.

Bold Glitter Lips

Starting off with the sassisest of the lot. Glitter lips, if you can pull them off are the bomb! We are not talking full blown shimmer that you may have come across on catwalks and editorials, but a gentle dab on your put to add dimension. We recommend keeping your eye makeup subdued in both colour and stroke.

Shimmery Smokey Eye
Take our favoourite a step further by accentuating your regular smokey eye with a dose of shimmer. If bright colours aren't your thing stick to a copper or bronze palette. Use it on your eyelids as well as lower lash line. Finish with a nude lipgloss

Full Brows and Bold Lips

Nothing more than a coming together of our favourite trends. A natural, full brushed brow coupled with a solid lip colour works not just for a party but is great to sport everyday too.

Red Pout
Never discount the classic. A classic red lippie nevr fails your outfit. Choose a dark, sultry scarlet look that will make your ex wish you were still with him.

Neutral Makeup

If your dress is enough to light up the room we recommend your makeup not give it stiff competition. Stick to neutral shades with perhaps just a bold liner.
