Exaggerated cat eyeliner

Constraint is passé as far as a smoky eye is concerned. An edgier version of the smokey eye, spotted on catwalks in Milan and Paris, is more smudged out, less defined, carrying a hint of grunge and oodles of dark glamour. We created a look inspired from the Max Mara SS 18 Milan show where models wore intense black on the eyes, diffused cleverly to give an alluring and modern cat-eye look. Bold brows and faux lashes build the drama while the subtle lips and makeup kept the focus on the eyes.

We achieved this look with just two MyGlamm makeup products- Jet Set Eyes Kajal-Eyeliner, which has a creamy formula, perfect for creating smokey eye and Stay Defined HD Brow Powder, which is a natural brown brow powder.

Here’s how to create this exaggerated glam look:

Step 1:

Draw a thick line using Jet Set Eyes kajal along the lower lash line, creating an exaggerated flick upwards, towards the outer corners of the eyes. Connect the flick with another kajal line, running along the eye crease. Smudge kajal in within the drawn line, to cover the entire eyelid roughly.

Step 2:

Smudge gently to dissolve the harsh lines. Using the brush, smudge the kajal across the eyelids, extending and shaping it into a nice and dramatic cat-eye look.

Step 3:
Swipe the kajal along the lower lash line and smudge for a softened look. Fill in the brows with Stay Defined HD brow powder and coat the lashes with Threesome mascara. Wear faux lashes for added drama.

Pair it with subtle nude lips.
