Top Fall/Winter 2018 makeup trends

Destination Wedding Makeup

It’s that time of the year when fresh beauty trends at the Fall/Winter 2018 shows are revealed and scrutinised. This sets the tone for the upcoming autumn and winter seasons.

Bold makeup continues to rule the roost at International runways of Paris, Mila, London and New York. From silver eye makeup, to bright eyeshadows, from berry lipsticks and bold blush, everything you can imagine was spotted. Keeping in line with Feminism, bold lips and statement eyes adorned with glitter and unconventional colours were the most sought-after makeup trends. The ramps saw the return of mascara, inspired by the 60s and 80s vibe along with barely-there makeup, encouraging clean beauty. No show can be complete without sparkle and sheen, so glitter and highlighter were all over the catwalks; on face, body and eyes. In short, the Autumn/Winter 2018 makeup trends celebrated self-expression and the bold and the beautiful feminine vibe that doesn’t seem to ebb, and we welcome it wholeheartedly.

Here are some of our favourite makeup trends at the Fall/Winter 2018 runways.
