So, what is this secret ingredient we’re talking about? Well, *drumroll* it’s olive oil. In a recent interview, the singer/actress revealed that her mother always told her that olive oil is the cure for everything and she’s not wrong. Olive oil is said to have many benefits especially when it comes to skin. Since it is enriched with vitamin E, this common kitchen ingredient moisturises your skin, fights signs of ageing, brings back the radiance and best of all, it is perfect for any skin type. So, it’s no surprise that her new beauty line is made with a blend of soothing squalane, fermented olive oil, extra-virgin olive oil and olive leaf extract. Olive Oil & Yogurt Face Pack

Want to get rid of premature signs of ageing and smoothen those fine lines and wrinkles, then this is what you need. While olive oil adds moisture to the epidermis, Yogurt, on the other hand, helps fight acne, fades blemishes and pigmentation.

1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp yogurt


Mix these two ingredients until it is a fine paste. Gently massage it on the skin for 2 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water after 20 minutes. Do this for a couple of weeks if you want to see results.

Olive Oil and Cucumber Face Pack

Looking to hydrate the skin and keep it soft and supple, then this is what you need. Cucumber contains antioxidant and analgesic properties, Vitamins A & C which help treat sunburn, even out skin tone, reduce breakouts, soothe irritated skin and inflamed skin.


Half a cucumber
1 tbsp each olive oil and milk


Grind the cucumber to create a paste and add olive oil and a bit of milk. Mix well and apply it to a clean face. Leave this on for 20 minutes and wash it off with cold water. You’ll immediately notice a difference in your skin texture.

Olive Oil and Banana Face Pack

If you have sensitive skin, then give this face pack a try. Banana is loaded with many nutrients like vitamin A, zinc, and manganese, all of which work together to keep the skin moisturised, control oil, fight signs of ageing and reduce pigmentation.

1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp cucumber juice
2 tbsp mashed banana

Mix all these ingredients well to create a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and neck and leave it on for 20 minutes before washing it all off with lukewarm water.
