Oscars 2019 Red Carpet

With the award season underway, the Oscars 2019 was something worth waiting for. The 91st Academy Awards took place on February 21st at the Dolby Theater in LA, where the Hollywood’s brightest stars descended to woo the world with their personal and whimsical styles.

The leading ladies stepped out on the red carpet in a stunning array of gowns, but it was ‘the man in a dress’ who slayed like a boss. Billy Porter swept the red-carpet hands down when he arrived in a black Christian Siriano Tuxedo gown. The fans loved his experimental look while he left many wide-eyes in his voluminous dress.

Rami Malek continued with his winning streak by picking up the Best Actor award for Bohemian Rhapsody. Regina King took home her first award, for Best Supporting Actress for her work in If Beale Street Could Talk. Olivia Colman won Best Actress for playing Queen Anne in The Favourite. Lady Gaga was left in tears after winning an Oscar for the song "Shallow," from "A Star Is Born," which was Gaga's first big acting debut co-starring Bradley Cooper.
