For your makeup to look flawless, you need not use all the makeup products that you have in your vanity. Ditch one or two to get a natural look. This way, you won’t tend to go overboard. The basic makeup products are all you need to keep it simple yet stunning.  Blending the make with your fingertips is the most convenient option for beginners.

Keep The Base Clear:

Before applying any makeup product on your skin, make sure that you first use a cleanser or toner to wipe off any impurities or dust that is stuck to your skin. By doing this, you will not just have your makeup stand out but it will also give your face the much-needed natural glow.

Moisturize Your Skin Before Applying Foundation:

Your skin has many dry patches that are evident once you apply foundation on your face, especially the nose and around the lips. Therefore, applying a moisturizer before foundation will help moisturize the dry patches on your skin and prevent it from getting too oily.

Next Use A Tinted Moisturizer or Light Foundation:

Take some tinted moisturizer or light foundation, apply just a few spots with your fingers to your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, then blend with your fingers or use a foundation brush, whatever is comfortable, working the spots outwards from the centre in all directions. For more coverage, use a makeup sponge to apply, using the same blending technique.

Use Concealer To Hide Your Dark Circles:

Apply concealer on the area under your eyes which is the darkest. A concealer can best help you cover your dark circles. While selecting a concealer, ensure that you pick the one which is closest to your skin tone for it to look natural

Set The Concealer With Baby Powder:

Baby powder or translucent powder will help settle your concealer or foundation by using a velvet-y powder puff. However, if you are applying a powder brush, tap off the excess powder before applying it on your face in circular motions.

Apply Eyeshadow Of Your Choice:

A neutral shade of eyeshadow works best for beginners. Use either a rounded brush or your fingers to blend in the eyeshadow, working your way up to the brow bone. If you’re using a brush, just tap it lightly on the side of your eyeshadow case to remove any excess.

Next Comes Eyeliner:

Once you nail the shadow, move on to the eyeliner. Let’s be honest here. Perfecting eyeliner takes time, therefore, take it slow and don’t go for the fancy winged liner if you’re a beginner. Take either a black pencil or any other color of your choice, and apply along the rim of your upper lash line. Eyeliner can be perfected only with some good amount of practice. Don’t expect it to look absolutely flawless in the first go.

Curl Your Lashes:

Use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes. Place the curler at the base of your upper eyelashes and press it for five seconds. This will simply enhance your look because lashes add the kind of drama you need in your makeup.

Next, Use A Mascara:

After you curl your lashes, add mascara to both your upper as well as lower lashes with the tip of your mascara wand. One coat should suffice, but if you want a fuller look, then add a second coat.

Use Blush To Highlight Your Cheekbones:

While doing your makeup, never miss out on blush. A blush helps in highlighting your cheekbones, thus, completing your look. Smile and dab on the blush from the apple of your cheeks all the way upwards towards your temples. Now see the magic your smile works on others.

Last Step-Apply Lipstick Or Gloss:

If you want a matte look, then go for a matte lipstick, whereas, if you want a shiny look, then add some lip gloss to give your makeup that final touch. This first application can be straight from the tube; then, use your fingers to blend outwards, adding color with your fingertips as needed.
