Toner On The Go: This DIY Will Change Your CTM Routine For Good!

Have you ever wondered why do you need two skincare products to do one job? I’m hinting at toners for skin and cotton pads here. The two depend on each other and it will only make life easier if they join forces. Readymade toner pads already exist, but you don’t need to buy one when you have cotton round pads and a toner lying around at home. While some use their fingers to apply the toner on their skin, I do not recommend doing so. Dirty fingers have bacteria on them and the last thing you want to do is transfer it onto your skin. Cotton pads take the trophy here. Cotton rounds soaked in toner are great for micro-exfoliation and hydration.

I love using toner pads because it saves me time and eliminates an extra step in my skincare routine. And besides, it encourages you to actually ditch being lazy and use the toner, right? And if you already have the basics (any toner and some cotton pads), making them at home will be a cakewalk!

You use a toner only after cleansing. Its main purpose is to balance the pH of your skin and if you have any product residue on the skin post-cleansing, it’ll take care of that too.

Things You Need:

  • Round cotton pads
  • Toner
  • Air-tight glass container

Method

Step 1: Stack a bunch of cotton pads into an air-tight glass container.

Step 2: Pour the toner over the cotton pads.

Step 3: Wait for 5 minutes. Allow the product to soak nicely into the pads.

Step 4: They’re ready to use now! Swipe the saturated cotton pad over clean skin and enjoy.

Step 5: Once you’re done, close the glass container and store in a cool, dry place or in your fridge.

Just in case you don’t have a toner at home. You can always make one at home using rose water and lil bit of aloe gel – and you’re ready to roll!
