Home-made Face Packs To Care For Your Skin In Winters

With winter comes skin problems. But not to worry, MyGlamm brings to you some very interesting and easy-to-make face masks that’ll help you resolve skin issues instantly. Be it, dry skin, oily skin or tired skin, the following facial masks will help you treat your skin in the most authentic manner possible.

Honey and Raw Milk Mask:

This is one of the easiest facial masks to make at home. Simply add 5-6 tablespoon of raw milk to two tablespoon of honey. Apply the mask on your face and neck and massage it for about 5-7 minutes. Let the pack rest on your face for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. It’s a fool proof formula to treat rough skin in the harsh winter months.

Egg White Mask:

If you have oily skin, try the egg white face mask. Beat an egg white till it smoothens, apply the egg white on your face and rinse it after about half an hour. This facial mask will help you tighten your oily skin and will make it look healthier and clearer.

Oatmeal Mask or Banana Mask:

Most of us get affected by the cool breeze during winters. In this case, treat your skin with an oatmeal mask. To create this facial mask, mix raw oatmeal flakes, egg yolk and honey in equal proportions and rinse it with lukewarm water after 20 minutes. This mask will help you heal your skin instantly.

A banana mask should also work for skin suffering from winter elements. Take one banana and mash it, add some fresh milk cream to it and apply this mask all over your face. Let it rest on your face for about 30 minutes before you rinse it off. This mask will leave you with smooth, soft and nourished skin.

Avocado Mask:

An avocado mask is apt for dry skin that may irritate you in the dry winter months. However, to transform the dryness into softness, an easy-to-make avocado mask may come to your rescue. All you need to do is mash the flesh of avocado with a fork, add a pinch of extra-virgin oil and apply this smooth mask that also makes for a lovely fragrance, onto your face. This mask will supply your skin with vitamins, minerals, and softening agents to fight the winter dryness.

Chocolate Mask:

Any fans of dark chocolate here? Well, apart from just savouring dark chocolate, it can also be made into a facial mask to benefit your skin by improving skin hydration and thickness. All you need is 1/3rd cup of cocoa powder, ¼th cup honey, two tablespoons of plain yoghurt and 3 teaspoons of oats. Mix all the ingredients together to create a paste and let it rest on your face for 15-20 minutes.

Cultured Milk Mask:

Milk can do wonders for your face, it helps in hydrating dry skin, exfoliating mature skin and soothes irritated skin. For tired skin, a cultured milk mask is a very effective cure. Simply apply some amount of buttermilk or natural yoghurt on your face leaving the areas around your eyes. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse it off with cool water. This mask will not just make you feel rejuvenated but will also help you achieve softer skin.

Strawberry and Lemon Juice Mask:

Make a smooth paste using a fistful of strawberries, two tablespoons of lemon juice and one tablespoon of honey. Mix it all together in a blender and apply it on your face once the paste is smooth. Leave it on for 20 minutes before washing your face. This remedy will prevent your skin from breaking out.

Papaya Mask:

Get smooth and silky skin with only two ingredients, that is, a ripe mashed papaya and one teaspoon of olive oil. Apply this mask on your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes before you wash your face. This mask will leave you with moisturized skin.
