DIY Face Masks for Summer

The summer heat makes it impossible for us to cake on layers of foundation, making flawless skin a must. Add the humidity and dust on top of that, achieving the perfect summer look just gets so difficult. Face masks are a great way to clarify and hydrate your skin. What’s better is that you can make them with a few simple ingredients in your kitchen.

MyGlamm lists a few DIY face masks for your skin needs.

2 tablespoons honey + juice from ½ a lemon

Lemon juice is known for its anti-bacterial properties and can help minimise the appearance of acne scars and dark spots. Honey moisturises your skin and keeps it smooth.

Fuller’s earth + rose water

Add rose water to Fuller’s earth powder until it forms a paste. Apply it on your skin and leave it for 20 minutes before washing it off. The Fuller’s earth draws out toxins and impurities while rose water refreshes dull skin.
