What you'll need:

1 tbsp castor oil

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp coconut oil

Handful curry leaves

Handful fenugreek seeds

Method:

Step One: Mix the three oils along with the curry leaves and fenugreek seeds in an airtight container to infuse for a few days. 

Step Two: Strain the oil concoction and add a little warm water to the mix.

Step Three: Apply it in circular motions and leave it on for 45-60 mins before washing it off.

Malaika swears by this recipe for longer and thicker hair that will fall less this is because all the three oils are rich in Vitamin E and fatty acids and curry leaves and fenugreek seeds are rich in proteins.

What You'll Need:

Rice grains

Water

Method:

Step One: Rinse uncooked rice grains and then soak them in water.

Step Two: Strain the rice out and keep the water in a container. 

Step Three: After shampooing your hair, massage the water into your hair and let it sit for 10-15 mins.

Step Four: Rinse off.

Rice is a very common ingredient in Korean and Japanese beauty items. It has a thickening effect on the strands and creates a layer of starch on the hair shaft and adds volume and shine to it.

What You'll Need:

2 tbsp yogurt

1 tbsp honey

1 egg

Method:

Step One: Whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl until it becomes a smooth paste.

Step Two: Apply it to your hair and leave the hair mask on for an hour.

Step One: Mash one banana with half an avocado and add in the oil till it becomes a paste.

Step Two: Apply this on your hair and leave it for an hour and then rinse off.

Bananas are high in vitamins and natural oils and help in avoiding breakage. They give a glow to the tresses and improve hair strength. Avocados help in repairing damaged hair and combined with coconut oil, it works wonders.
