Beauty mavens love double-duty products, and lip and cheek tints are no exception. They offer the best of both worlds by effortlessly giving us an I-just-got-a-facial glow along with pretty plump lips. Just tapping a little bit onto our cheeks and lips makes us look fresh and rejuvenated.

So, if you love these products but are looking for inexpensive options, we're listing down some DIY lip and cheek tint recipes that you're gonna love.

4 DIY Lip And Cheek Tint Recipes That You Need To Try ASAP

The One With Beetroot

You’ll Need:

  • Beetroot powder or extract
  • Glycerine
  • Water

Method:

Step 1: Add one tablespoon of water along with one teaspoon of glycerine and mix it well in a bowl.

Step 2: Next, add the beetroot powder to the mix. You can keep adding the powder until the consistency seems fine.

Step 3: Mix the ingredients and transfer the tint to the small container.

Step 4: Keep it in the refrigerator for two to three hours, and yep it is ready to use.

Highly Pigmented Tint

You’ll need:

  • Red food colouring
  • Almond oil
  • Water
  • An empty small container

Method:

Step 1: To a bowl, add one tablespoon of almond oil and a teaspoon of water.

Step 2: Next, add 2-3 drops of red food colouring, depending on the shade you want. You can add more droplets in case you want a deeper shade.

Step 3: Blend everything well, till it thickens.

Step 4: Transfer the paste to a small container and freeze for at least 2 hours. The tint will easily last you 3-4 months if stored in the fridge.

Ultra-Nourishing Tint

You’ll Need:

  • Hibiscus powder or extract
  • Shea butter
  • Glycerine
  • Water

Method:

Step 1: To a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of glycerine and 1 tablespoon of water.

Step 2: Next, add hibiscus powder to the mix.

Step 3: Mix the ingredients nicely and add ¼ teaspoon of shea butter.

Step 4: Combine everything and transfer the paste to a small container. Freeze it for 3-4 hours and use it to give a rosy tint to your cheeks.

For Rosy Cheeks

You’ll Need:

  • 2 Roses
  • Lemon juice
  • Water
  • Rosewater (optional)

Method:

Step 1: First, grind rose petals in a grinder and add around 1/4 cup of water to this. To make it easier, add lemon juice of ½ a lemon, till the petals are ground well and have formed tiny particles.

Step 2: Next, pour this paste into a strainer. Hold a bowl over it or squeeze with your thumb till the petals have strained through. You can add a tablespoon of rose water to this, that way it smells great and hydrates the skin and lips as well!

Step 3: Then put this liquid into a boiler and add the lemon juice from the remaining half lemon.  The more lemon you add, the more pigmented the shade will be. Let this steam for a few minutes. Once it has cooled down, add it to the container with a dropper and dab onto your cheeks and lips for a naturally flushed glow.

If you don't want to make one at home. We suggest using Clean Beauty Cocoa Butter Lip & Cheek Pencil. This tint will not only give that perfectly flushed look but will also nourish your skin giving you a lit-from-within glow.

Sport a fresh, rosy glow all day every day!
