The Best Makeup Looks At The Lion King Premiere in LA

Destination Wedding Makeup

Hakuna Matata, everyone! Yesterday was the official premiere of 'The Lion King' live-action remake and while we still need to wait a while till it hits theatres, the star-studded cast, along with other equally talented celebs pulled no stops on the red carpet. Dressed to the nines, the women (and men) dazzled us all with their ensembles.

While the guys looked dashing, for this blog, however, we’re going to concentrate only on the ladies! So, without further ado, here are the women who grabbed our attention with their animal prints, feathers, metallics, and their on-point makeup.

Obviously, we can’t start this blog without Queen Bey herself. Beyonce, who voices Nala in the movie, was dripping in diamonds. While she impressed everyone with her outfit, she opted for minimal makeup. With her smoky eyes along with glossy lips and luminous skin, Beyonce gave us all some serious neutral makeup goals.

Kelly Rowland

Even though she wasn’t in the movie, Kelly rocked the red carpet with her adorable son. The singer channeled her inner animal spirit with a zebra print dress. For her makeup, she took a page from Beyonce’s book and looked fierce with her neutral makeup and thick, dark, long lashes!

Michelle Williams

It was a Destiny’s Child reunion as former bandmate Michelle was also spotted at the premiere. While she went all out with her mirror dress, she too, stuck to minimal makeup and smoky eyes. Seems like the ladies of Destiny’s Child opted to coordinate their makeup looks........just like the good old days!

Shahadi Wright Joseph

Shahadi Wright Joseph, the voice of young Nala, looked stunning in a lavender gown with matching eyeshadow. Her bright lids and minimal makeup complemented her outfit perfectly.

Marsai Martin

Still in her teens, Marsai is already slaying the makeup game. Her ombre gold and red eyeshadow with blush that went up to her temples added that extra glam to her Oscar de la Renta gown.

Ali Wong

Comedian Ali Wong looked pretty in pink on the red carpet. Just like her pastel pink gown, the actress went for matching rosy cheeks along with a shimmery pink lip gloss and a bit of eyeliner! This subtle makeup was enough to give her a fresh-faced look!

This former Disney star’s makeup was on point. With bold red lips, long eyelashes, gold and red eyeshadow, paired with her rainbow hair bun and big feather earrings, the actress proved that she can rock just about anything.
