How To Use: After you’ve used cleansed and applied your night cream, pour a few drops of niacinamide into your skin and dab it lightly. You can use it daily as it is really mild on the skin.

Lactic Acid

Lactic acid is an excellent ingredient to introduce into your skincare regimen if you wish to fade away dark spots in no time. It is one of the most common AHAs and helps to even out skin tone, make your skin glow, and gently exfoliates it too.

Unlike niacinamide, lactic acid is not mild and should not be used more than 3 times a week, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Salicylic Acid

Pick out any anti-acne product and you’ll always see salicylic acid as one of the hero ingredients. It is because it is really effective against acne and also helps remove bacteria buildup from the skin.

If you have acne-prone skin, perhaps you should give salicylic acid a try. It is quite potent so make sure you apply it in moderation.

How To Use: Start small; use salicylic acid as a spot treatment 1-2 times a week after applying your moisturiser and if you think your skin is handling it well, then start using it in more quantities. Make sure you aren’t using any other harsh product with it such as any product that may have tea tree oil because it can react badly.

How To Use: Apply a ceramide-infused product (preferably a serum) on damp skin to lock in the moisture. You can use it twice a day, depending on your age and we bet your skin will be feeling tight in no time.
