#BeautyBinge: Looks From Popular Netflix Shows That You Need To Bookmark ASAP!

Untitled_design_(28).png

If you've been binge-watching TV shows, then like us, serial beauty enthusiasts, you've been in awe of the noteworthy beauty looks. From hair and makeup to perfectly glazed skin, we're impressed by the creativity shown by the makeup artists and hairstylists who bring these characters alive. From Bridgerton to Bling Empire, these are the looks we're currently recreating in front of our mirrors...

We Can't Get Enough Of These Hair And Makeup Looks From Our Favourite TV Shows...

Jaime Xie's slicked hair in the Bling Empire

Is it just me or is this sky-high ponytail giving you major Ariana Grande vibes? Jaime Xie likes to use just two products to slick back her hair: a shine spray and a hair spray. She first goes in with a shine spray and combs her hair with a boar bristle brush. Then she ties it up and uses a hairspray to zap flayaways.

Daphne Bridgerton's flushed cheeks in Bridgerton

In Bridgerton, we see everyone wearing blush, from Prince Frederich to Daphne Bridgerton. The latter has gorgeously flushed skin and to get the look, we suggest investing in a good, blendable cream blush. Use the warmth of your fingers to blend it in, in circular motions.

Monica Geller's barrettes in F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Even though this '90s show has been screened for inspo by beauty enthusiasts countless times over the years, there always is something that we miss out on. In this case, Monica serves an important lesson: barrettes are the easiest and sometimes the cutest hair accessories one can wear. Want to make your barrette stay in place? Easy. Just spray some hairspray on the reverse side of the clip and then pin it in place.

Musa's twin space buns in Fate: The Winx Saga

Space buns are cute again, thanks to Musa in Netflix's Fate: The Winx Saga. This magical live-adaptation of the Winx Club has several beauty moments but these braided buns are our favourite. To get the look, simply tie your hair in two plaits. Twist each braid and secure it at the base using bobby pins, no neatness necessary.

Fallon Carrington's signature cat-eye and fluttery lashes in Dynasty

Did you know, after her glam is done on the set of Dynasty, it is Elizabeth Gillies who finishes her own makeup? She draws in her signature cat-eye eyeliner. Her trick to get super fluttery lashes? First, wear one pair of super voluminous lashes and then add an extra set on top. Then add a few coats of volumizing mascara and you're set!

TV characters and reality shows get us through some tough days in life, am I right? And, there is nothing more beauty lovers swoon over more than their favourites getting a makeover or kickstarting a trend.

Did your favourite makeup or hair moment from a TV series make it to the list? Let us know!
