COVID-19 Raining On Your Red Carpet Parade? Feast Your Eyes On The Best Oscar Looks From 2019
Given that we're currently in the middle of a global pandemic, all red carpet events stand cancelled for the unforeseeable future. If you're sick of re-visiting all the glam looks from this years Oscars (thank god the panmedic hit later!) might we suggest going back (just a little bit) in time to the Oscars 2019? The 91st Academy Awards took place on February 21, 2019 at the Dolby Theater in Los Aangeles, where Hollywood’s brightest stars descended to woo the world with their personal and whimsical styles.
The leading ladies stepped out on the red carpet in a stunning array of gowns, but it was ‘the man in a dress’ who slayed like a boss. Billy Porter swept the red-carpet hands down when he arrived in a black Christian Siriano Tuxedo gown. The fans loved his experimental look while he left many wide-eyes in his voluminous dress.
Rami Malek continued with his winning streak by picking up the Best Actor award for Bohemian Rhapsody. Regina King took home her first award, for Best Supporting Actress for her work in If Beale Street Could Talk. Olivia Colman won Best Actress for playing Queen Anne in The Favourite. Lady Gaga was left in tears after winning an Oscar for the song "Shallow," from "A Star Is Born," which was Gaga's first big acting debut co-starring Bradley Cooper.
