DIY Face Packs For Glowing Skin, This Monsoon

Be it oily, dry or combination skin, all skin types do get affected during the monsoon season. This happens not just due to high humidity but also, because of washing your face over and over to clean all the dirt and sweat that gets accumulated when you get drenched in the rains. If you have experienced various skin issues and would like to prevent it from damaging your skin, then these masks are all you need to flaunt healthy and glowing skin once again:

Egg + Oat Meal Mask

Prepare a paste by mixing 3 teaspoon oat meal, 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon curd. Stir the mixture till it is smooth. Apply the paste onto your cleansed face and let it sit for half an hour. Rinse it off with normal water. Results are most effective when you use the mix twice a week.

Fuller’s Earth Pack

Make a concoction of 1 tablespoon fuller’s earth (multani mitti) with an adequate amount of rose water. Ensure that the paste is thick and smooth in consistency. All those with an oily/combination skin, apply this paste once a week and see your skin transform.

Oat Meal + Rose Water Mask

Mix 3 teaspoon oat meal, 1 tablespoon rose water, 1 teaspoon curd and 1 teaspoon honey. Stir it well so that it turns into a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and let it stay for half an hour. Use this paste twice a week religiously to achieve nourished and soft skin, even in the humid season.

Besan + Turmeric Mask

In a bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of gram powder (besan), a pinch of turmeric, 2-3 drops of lemon juice and 1-2 teaspoons of rose water to form a paste. Apply the paste and let it sit on your face for 15-20 minutes. You will be left with a natural glow instantly. This mask is suitable for all skin types, except for those who have sensitive skin.
