Best Makeup looks from The Oscars 2018 Red Carpet
The Oscars marked the end of the awards season and the red carpet gave us some sensational beauty moments.
While most of the attention is usually bestowed on those jaw dropping couture creations, it’s usually the makeup that’s instrumental in taking a look from beautiful to riveting. Right from va va voom curls, burgundy, blue, metallic on the lids, red, fuchsia lips to barely-there makeup, the stars had the entire spectrum covered. Some were trends that the beauty pundits had seen coming , others like Danai Gurira’s beautifully painted buzz cut took us completely by surprise in the best way possible .
Here are the A- listers that made our list.
90s style glamour just had a major moment on the Oscars red carpet courtesy JLaw. Crimped blonde hair, smokey eyes, burnt orange lipsticks, yes, the 90s are back!
She can do no wrong! Sashaying down the red carpet, Zendaya sported a topknot, bronze smokey eyes and skin that looked that it had been airbrushed in RL.
Congratulations to all the winners and nominees tonight! As always, thank you to my awesome glam squad!!! Sometimes all that a smokey eye and nude lips combo needs is a cascade of glorious curls.
Winged burgundy eyes and glossy lips accesorised with flowers in the ponytail was edgy and soft at the same time.
The slight S shape bob and the best no- makeup makeup that we have seen in recent times.
She’s never had a red carpet miss, none that we can recall anyway and the striking blue smokey eye that Nyong’o wore to the Academy Awards this year was not going to be an exception.
How To Recreate a Sapphire Eye Makeup Look
Rosy pink everything- Emma Stone’s makeup coupled beautifully with her tuxedo and we love the detour from the usual floor sweeping gowns.
The Black Panther star showed us that you don’t necessarily have to paint your face to slay on the red carpet. The intricate white paint on her buzzcut is makeupgoals x10
While we’re not exactly fangirling over the dress we can’t say the same for those lush fuchsia lips.
