Audrey Hepburn is a classic fashion icon. Her beauty is remembered and appreciated years after her death. In honour of her birth anniversary, MyGlamm lists some lessons we learned from the Fair Lady.

Less is more- Audrey’s look was always clean, chic and minimalist. Her makeup was never too much. Her style was always effortless.

Grace before fashion- Audrey Hepburn’s easy grace and charm made even a bare face or short hair look ultra-feminine on her. Not all of us are trained ballerinas like Audrey but the correct posture and etiquette can go a long way.

Be your own person- She managed to create her own unique style persona and will forever be known for her long eyelashes, dewy skin and Parisian style.

Don’t be scared of androgynous style- With confidence a woman can make short, boyish haircuts look cool rather than frumpy.

Break the mould- She wasn’t scared to be different from conventional actresses and stick to her own style- be it full eyebrows or over-lined lips.
